Like a father silently desires that his child should surpass him in name, fame & wealth and feels proud to be known as father of so and so, teachers too long for their students to excel in life and bring laurels to the Alma Mater and its Faculty. When Institutions churn out students who excel in life after imbibing the nectar of knowledge, it is time for the State to sit up and recognise the untiring efforts of the Teachers.

Two of the faculty members of Bhavan's Mehta Vidyalaya, one currently the Principal and the other a former Physics teacher brought laurels.

The Association proudly congratulates Shri G S Negi, the current principal who joined this Institution as a Geography Teacher in 1969, for getting the National Best Teacher Award 2002 from the President of India on 5th September 2003 that aptly happened to be the Teachers Day.

The Association also proudly congratulates Shri D P Sharma, former Physics Teacher and the current principal of Bhavan's Sawan Public School, for getting the Dr. Radhakrishnan Award 2002 from the Hon'ble Minister for Education of Delhi, Shri Rajkumar Chauhan on 4th September 2003.
